A history that spans more than a century
The Bakery
Vaccani has been in the baking world since 1906, the year Zaverio Vaccani started his business as a baker. He managed to distribute his products with art and knowledge throughout the Lecco, Como, and Milan areas in a short time. He quickly became recognized as the most famous Prestinè (or Baker) in Lecco!
Since then, every night we have been producing handmade bread, pizzas, focaccias, and desserts, thanks to the skilled hands of expert bakers. Vaccani products are baked at dawn every day with great passion, attention to the ingredients used and leavening methods to amaze our customers with the artisan and authentic quality of Italian bread-making excellence.
The shops
Vaccani’s name is also well-known thanks to these! Over the years, it has been presented in the Lecco area with a network of company-owned shops where families could purchase bread, pasta, sweets, and many other delicacies through direct contact between producer and consumer, and with a “shop-in” purchasing concept, so-called in Italian way “in Bottega”, that still then characterizes the relationship of trust with customers. This characteristic has made the Vaccani brand increasingly synonymous with guaranteed quality!
Pinsa Romana
At Vaccani’s it is more delicious
Since 2015, Vaccani’s company has also been a distributor for some Italian regions of the famous and unique Pinsa Romana made by Di Marco’s company in Rome!
Thanks to Alberto Vaccani’s long-standing friendship with Corrado Di Marco, the inventor of a unique and inimitable recipe for Pinsa Romana, today Vaccani’s company supplies numerous and varied catering businesses as well as being present in the large-scale distribution sector!

Pinsa Romana produced by ourselves
Pinsa is a one-of-a-kind product: made with a blend of wheat and soy flours, it’s a long-leaving pizza with no added fat or sugar. Its oval shape and light texture, guaranteed by the absence of fat and sugar, impress everyone.

Pinsa Romana is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and incredibly light: the blend of flours is also enriched with rice flour and sourdough starter. As a result we obtain a hydrated dough, free of fat and sugar, an explosion of flavor that doesn’t weigh you down.
Pinsa Romana is available in various shapes and sizes to meet the needs of both your business and your customers: from the classic oval-shaped to the round-shaped ones (even small ones for the little ones), and even the half-meter Pala, which, in addition to being very practical for appetizers or with cold cuts, creates that good-company atmosphere that makes your business even more attractive!
